Another hot day

It's  another hot day and I'm wondering if we'll ever get rain again. I watered everything this morning - well, everything that was important. I can't water the entire five acres. How many garden hoses would I need for that?

It's a good day...

It's a good day to relax and enjoy your Sunday. It may be hot outside (wherever you're located) but I intend to catch up on some reading and continue to heal. I have bronchitis and pink eye and slowly the medicine is working!

New Orleans

It's been an enjoyable mini-vacation in New Orleans. It was hot and steamy but so what? We visited the World War II museum which was excellent. We rode on a street car through the garden district, and ate at Emeril's "Nola's. The Zydeco music festival was nice...good music and nice vendor booths. Time to go home tomorrow.
